Bangkok +66 Part 3

The next day, we decided to spend the morning swimming in the hotel pool. It was lovely really. Z had a good nap then we head out to a local place for lunch.

Good old fashion local delights before we conquered Platinum Mall. I wanted to let KM have a taste of platinum mall and it’s madness. Not forgetting to try out a coffee store. The coffee culture in Bangkok has been really hip in the last couple of years.

we visited the Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Square.

The coffee was average and the cake too. But the atmosphere was pretty interesting. We felt like we boarded a tiny train with the super cozy seats.

Thereafter, we head to the best night market, we’ve been to this entire trip.

The New Rod Fai Ratchada Night Market Location: Ratcadaphisek Road (close to Esplanade Shopping Mall)
MRT: National Cultural Centre

The variety of food is crazily insane!

We got super hungry when we got there and we ordered a very simple char Kuey teow. It looks similar to the Malaysian one and it has a subtle taste. We only decided to eat it because we could get a seat but it was a pleasant surprise.

The food was glorious! The shopping was so much more interesting.

This marked the end of our Bangkok trip. We’re so blessed to be able to travel and have fun despite uncertainties in the economy.
