Woots. I’m still not done with my cosmetics stash. After all, to hit my free shipping amount, i had to spend USD$125.
I just tried this beauty the past week or so. It’s really a pretty awesome product. The effect of it looks natural. It’s my first time using an eyebrow cake powder. What you need to do:
Step 1: Use that white colour thingy (wax) to arrange your brow hair nicely.
Step 2: Apply brow colour according to your preference.
This product has received a number of raving reviews. Some even called it the holy grail for brows. I havent tried the crayon pencil yet. So I’ll save the ‘holy grail’ remarks when I’ve tried everything. But for the price that you’re paying for, its not bad.
I’ll give it a 8/10. Simply because I use only 1 colour rather than 2.
A fellow ex-colleague recommended me the Macadamia Healing Oil treatment a while back. It was a pretty good product considering that most people I know suffer from dry hair here. But this is a totally different experience. I’m not really a big fan of oil products (especially on my hair) since my hair gets oily throughout the day and Im not really a big fan of looking like some 80s fashion fad.
This product here works! It smells really good too (surprisingly, since the oil treatment wasn’t the most charming product). It keeps your hair soft and tame. Even the husband remarked that my hair looks so much better. He doesnt usually sing praises about how my hair looks.
I’m going to give this a 8/10. Because it has almost everything that I’m looking for in a leave in product.
This eye makeup remover lotion is not bad a product. I’m not a big fan of oil based makeup remover. It removes liquid eyeliner pretty well. But lately, I’ve switched to a crayon eyeliner and this guy here seemed to have some trouble cleaning it up completely. Doesn’t really work very well to remove mascara as well so I’m stuck to using other oil based eye makeup remover. One of my favourites instead include Biore Makeup Remover for Eye and Lip. Its clean and it does a much better job than this Neutrogena one.
I’ll give it a 5/10. Its passable just not awesome.
Overall, I find my cosmetics/ beauty haul pretty okay. Some products are a little disappointing and pricing wise it can be quite competitive to what we spend here in Singapore. I’ve also bought a whole bunch of stuff for minimoh since he’s almost due in a couple of weeks. Baby stuff on Amazon is definitely WAY more competitive in pricing even when we compare it to baby fair prices and mothercare products. Will be sharing more as time goes.
